The Coder Log feature is an essential tool that allows coders to efficiently track and document their daily coding activities and the accounts they have worked on. It creates a centralized repository of coding records that management can use for reporting, productivity tracking, and performance analysis.
In addition, the logs support audit processes by enabling administrators to easily retrieve relevant accounts when needed. For coders working across multiple facilities, the Coder Log also simplifies workflow management by allowing them to enter and manage accounts from all assigned facilities in one place, ensuring accurate and organized record-keeping.

Work session logging
Record real-time sessions for the current day with automatic elapsed-minute tracking, or enter start and end times manually for past days and retrospective tracking.
Add and manage accounts
Organize patient records by type. Add, edit, or delete visit details for current or past days, switch departments as needed, and manage visit status — from Pending through to Complete.
Navigation and retrospection
Log work sessions and patient accounts for today or any of the past seven days. Future dates are restricted, and edits beyond seven days are locked to preserve accuracy.
Error notifications
An intelligent error-flagging system alerts coders to duplicate account numbers or entry errors. Notifications appear at the top of the page and clear automatically once resolved.
Time distribution
Once hours and patient records are logged, distribute time manually per account — or use the one-click Distribute option to evenly allocate time across all patient accounts.
Weekly tracking
A weekly overview lets coders and managers monitor total hours worked at a glance, ensuring consistent and accurate tracking of coder activity over time.
Multi-facility support
Coders working across multiple facilities can log accounts from all locations in one place — streamlining workflow and ensuring accurate, consolidated record-keeping from a single interface.
