The Challange

Before ReviewMate, what challenges did you face? 

Prior to ReviewMate, we completed medical audits through the use of manual spreadsheets and data entry, both of which are prone to inefficiency and human error. Special consideration for large collaborative documents needed to be taken into account as working with outdated spreadsheets or having work overwritten was a common concern. This in turn eats into earned revenue and cost effectiveness for the client. To offer our clients the best possible value, we constantly sought new ways to streamline and revolutionize our workflows.

What made you select ReviewMate?

We felt ReviewMate offered a platform with great potential for automation and customization. We saw that many of the tasks that proved tedious in our current process were automatically streamlined within ReviewMate. All demographic data such as CPT, DX, PCS, Modifier, etc. were prepopulated and available to the auditor making data entry only necessary if there was an audit finding. Reporting could be generated with the click of a button and audit workflows were easily customizable to tailor an audit experience specifically for a clients focus and objectives. We were also impressed with the conversation process that could occur between auditors and coders. Within ReviewMate, a coder could be notified of and respond to auditor’s findings in real time rather than wait for the audit to be completed in its entirety.
